About Course
This course introduces students to AutoCAD, a leading software for computer-aided
design (CAD). It covers the fundamental tools and techniques needed to create, modify, and manage 2D and 3D drawings. Students will learn to navigate the AutoCAD interface, use drawing and editing tools, and apply layers and annotations to produce professional-quality drawings. Practical exercises and projects will reinforce skills and provide hands-on experience with real-world applications.
After completion of the course, students are expected to be able to:
● Identify key features and functions of the AutoCAD interface and tools.
● Apply the process of creating and modifying 2D drawings using basic AutoCAD
commands.
● Apply advanced drawing and editing techniques to produce accurate and
detailed 2D and 3D models.
● Analyze drawing data and apply annotations, layers, and dimensions to enhance
clarity and precision in AutoCAD drawings.
● Create a complete AutoCAD project, demonstrating proficiency in drawing,
