About Course

  • Support workers are required to assess a clients’ needs and as such should be familiar with the resources available in their communities so that they can provide an appropriate level of referral to a suitable resource, center, and/or agency. 
  • This course will introduce students to the history of health care support, available resources and appropriate professional networking practices.
