About Course
This course is designed to explore the basic principles of pharmacology: drug absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion. Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics will be covered including interactions, side effects and adverse interactions. Over the counter and prescription drugs will be identified and basic classifications according to the body systems will be reviewed.
Learning Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

classifications and indications.
● Understand and explain the roles of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and
pharmaceutics in therapeutic treatment and management.
